It's not like you can get DVDs for free. They cost money, and plus they only hold around 4 gigs too.

It's an ancient method from the dark age of technology, and it's a reliable way of backing things up as long as you burnt it correctly, and prevent the damn thing from scratching. I kept many stuffs on DVDs because my old computer's prone to breakdowns, and they're still here, working and fine.

Wow wow wow there. A highly populated Newcomer thread that I didn't notice? Where did I bury my head this time?

And welcome.

Yeah, I agree with you. If only my computer had a DVD drive for me to burn stuff in...

i don't use DVDs. We have Internet cafes for a reason. We play EVERYTHING there and use the rest for our few loved anime/hentai.

well for me while watching anime online is great and all I would most likely like to buy dvds if they weren't so expensive.

@motoslau: dvds aren't cheap these days most cost like around 20$? for a dvd that's 4 episodes of an anime I don't know. A little to high for my taste you, want to know whats cheap? 20$ for a 26 episode anime series set now THATS cheap.

watching anime on a TV is much better I really don't know its, just that when you watch it on TV it has a much higher looking quality. Especially Blu-ray for the greatest quality if you have a PS3 and the money its worth it plus, extras. But for some reason the US is making dvds with English subtitles in them. Which, I think is stupid seriously you can watch subtitle animes online. Even, fansubs are much better then the ones company make. For example the subtitles that the company provide are very dull yellows letters with no flavor. They can't even change the logo of the anime like for example, the company manage to change the logo of the anime in the dvd cover. But they they can't even f***ing change the logo when we see the opening of the anime. However for fansubs at least their subtitles have flavor the one they use are colorful if not colorful its a least unique looking I guess. Plus, they can change the logo of the anime to make it look like the original japanese. That's why I watch my anime online unless, the dvds that the company make have extra special content I'll buy it. if its alright requesting permission for a split?

Torrents are awesome. Should i start storing on DVDs? Sounds pretty useful and all...
