Default Chapter 1 Release
And finally we present you with chapter 1 of Worlds of Haruhi Suzumiya. The download links are available at the download section of the site. I thank all the staff members and whoever else that might be listed in the credits in the game for all their hard work.

We just decided to release it without the bonus content just so we can get on with chapter 2 and 3. Look forward to those chapters as well. If you wanted the voiced version you would have to wait a bit while the voice acting team finishes up with their job. Hopefully we can add bonus content in the next release.

Although we weren't originally going to release the game chapter by chapter, but since it looks like a good idea, we will be releasing everything chapter by chapter from now on.

While I feel it can be improved to be even better, I'm sure it'll happen when all the chapters are completed, and released as a whole.

Did your AV scanner try to delete some files? That error can't happen unless your data archive is missing.

Take a look in C:\Program Files\Worlds of Haruhi Suzumiya\game\ and make sure the wohs.rpa file is there. If it isn't, you will need to reinstall and make sure it is not deleted.

I set my eyes further ahead, and they focus on a small, black, and somewhat triangular object that sits royally on a typical desk I have come to know by heart. I don't need to read the two contrasting white characters illuminating the dark background to know what it says.

It would’ve read:

Your brigade chief!

I just finished playing Chapter 1 (sorry it took so long, I've been busy with lots of other things and it kept slipping my mind >.<)

Once again, awesome job! Such a creative story and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. I'll be looking forward to Chapter 2! =D

Download server is currently down due to a failed HDD and is currently being replaced by the datacenter. Will provide an update when it is done.

EDIT: Server should be back up though may be slow and intermittent due to a rebuild of the RAID array. Should resume normal speeds within a day or two.
